Information needed for evaluation

Particle size and consistencyMeasured size distributions, representative sampling and lot-to-lot consistency for the stream being considered.
AppearanceCurrent, representative samples and unaltered photographs. No uniform color or color-retention performance has been established.
Physical and chemical characterizationStream-specific composition, bulk density, durability and other properties required by the proposed use. Reference values do not replace these measurements.
Fiber characterizationFiber dimensions, shot content and residual binder or other constituents need to be established for the finished stream.
Handling and environmental requirementsMaterial-specific safety information and any exposure, total-metals or leaching evaluation required for the proposed handling and use.
Application testingAgree on acceptance criteria and suitable test methods with the evaluator before making any performance, substitution or compliance claim.
